There will be a young Girl Scout set up at our shop for a couple hours selling cookies :) Come support a local Girl Scout! Your dollars will go back to the community in meaningful ways, funding programing, projects, and activities for a local Girl Scout troop.

This event will be at the Iowa Food Co-op, located at 4944 Franklin Avenue Suite G, Des Moines, Iowa 50310.
We will have a booth at this open house event for our partners at Iowa Food Co-op. Members and nonmembers are all welcome to explore the opportunities at our wonderful beacon in our community, who are lifting up the local food economy with their yearlong online farmers market and educational efforts. 20 original handbills from the historic rock venue Fillmore West, a collection of one of our customers who lived in the Bay Area and frequented the Fillmore in the ‘70s. Small works of art, framed. Ephemera from the golden age of attending live concerts.

All unclaimed items will be donated to the following queer resource organization for the Des Moines community, Common Love DSM. Which we love! There will be separate masc + femme presenting areas for the clothes. We are really excited to be able to offer up our space for a great cause! Bring something, take something, do both, do one of the other, or neither and just come and enjoy the music, have some coffee and snacks and hang out a bit! Our friend Susie aka Sloppy Doozer will also be curating the music selections for the event, so please feel free to dance around as much as you want.
